With over 10,000 aquatic plants and animals from Florida and beyond, The Florida Aquarium offers educational insight into marine life. Follow a drop of water from its underground source to the open sea at this 152,000-square-foot aquarium, considered one of the top aquariums in the world.
At The Florida Aquarium, you'll explore an expanded shark collection, spineless world wonders, and rare Australian leafy sea dragons. See playful river otters, American alligators, free-flying birds, and a giant Pacific octopus. Enjoy a shark tank dive show, close-up animal encounters, and two touch tanks, or ride a 49-passenger catamaran through Tampa Bay to see dolphins, numerous species of birds and fish, manatees, and more!

Approximately 2 1/2 to 3 hours is recommended to tour the aquarium.
Available:
The Florida Aquarium is open from 9:30 AM to 5 PM daily, except on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
Note:
Children age 2 and younger are admitted for free. Aquarium admission does not include entrance to special programs and tours, such as DolphinQuest, Swim with the Fishes, Dive with the Sharks, and Behind the Scenes. Availability and tour times vary; please stop by the aquarium's information desk on the day of your visit for rate and additional availability information. Reservations for the Swim with the Fishes, and Dive with the Sharks programs can be booked directly through the aquarium; the customer service number appears on your printed voucher(s).

After you book your activity, follow these 3 easy steps:
1. Print your voucher; locate the voucher in your travel confirmation e-mail or in the My Trips/My Itineraries link on the site.
2. Follow the redemption instructions on your voucher; it is critical to do this before you depart.
3. Take all vouchers with you; you must redeem one voucher per person.

Reservations are not required. Please present your printed voucher(s) at The Florida Aquarium information desk for admission. The desk is located at the aquarium's entrance.
